So with inflation on the mind, we thought we ‘d check in on our old oil trade. We are long term bulls but haven’t mentioned it much on these pages lately since honestly, there hasn’t been much to say as its chopped between 70-90 for a couple years.

The former CEO of BT Group is working with private equity firms to acquire Rentokil (RTO), owner of Terminix. The shares went up ~8% on the news and are currently up 4% from the level prior to the news. In the case of a merger, at least a 30% premium from the close can be expected.
