The Event of the Week

KEDM’s New Crowdsource Monitor

As we all know KEDM has a TON of data and can be quite daunting. And all of us see something different in each event or theme. So this week we thought we’d try starting a new Monitor that polls the KEDM community so we can all take advantage of the depth of knowledge in this collective group.

Each week (assuming this is successful) we will be introducing a link for an ANONYMOUS 4-part survey on the most interesting setups in ED or themes. You don’t need to spend a ton of time here, simply review the KEDM events then click the link and fill in a ticker and the event you are targeting or researching. We will then compile the results each Monday, firm them up and distribute them to Discord and a link on the website. The goal is to create a dynamic top-5 or top-10 list that will help us all separate the signal from the noise.

  • Kuppy was back on the podcast circuit last week and recorded a great podcast with Jack Farley looking at a few of his biggest market themes and why he thinks the bond market is about to crack.
  • We touched on these issues in Kuppy’s tweet above but always great to see commodity legends like Goehring & Rozencwajg picking up on the same things. Check out their most recent blog looking at the supply issues facing the uranium mining sector.

Kuppy’s Event Driven Monitor scans over 20 corporate events for market moving information and distills them into our propietary “Kliff Notes.”  One profitable trade should more than cover an annual subscription and access to the Event Driven chatroom!
